This collection consists of the records created or compiled by either the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics or one of its five predecessor departments. Records include correspondence, meeting minutes, planning documents, and reports of yearly academic activities. The majority of the records were created by the Department of German; however, the Departments of Classics, Linguistics, Slavic Languages, and Hebrew Studies are represented within the collection, as well. In addition, there is a significant amount of material pertaining to the Master of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literature (MAFLL) program.
